Fees and rules

Buyer fees

Review the buyer fee before placing a bid, so the total cost is clear in advance. The current auction entry fee is 5% of the starting price, as configured by the platform, and it is non-refundable.

Seller fees

Publishing is free. The seller pays the UGC commission only when the car sells; review, reserve options and seller responsibilities are explained below.

Bidding rules

Learn how bid increments, the displayed closing time, reserve status, and binding bids work.

After auction

Follow clear steps for payment, seller approval, transfer, pickup, shipping, and export support.

Bidding rules

What to know before your first bid.

Account
You need a registered account with a verified phone number to join an auction or bid.
Joining an auction
Joining requires an entry fee of 5% of the starting price, paid online once per auction.
Bid confirmation
The bid window shows the amount before you confirm. A confirmed bid cannot be withdrawn.
Bid increments
Your bid must beat the current bid by at least SAR 100 under 10,000, SAR 250 under 100,000, and SAR 1,000 above that.
Maximum bid
Set a maximum and the system bids for you by the minimum increment, never above that amount.
Reserve
"No reserve": the highest bid wins. With a reserve: the car sells only if the highest bid reaches it; the status shows "Reserve met" or "Reserve not met".
Timer
The auction closes at the displayed end time. Bids in the last minutes do not extend it.
Bids are binding
A bid is a commitment to buy at that price if you win, under the seller terms shown on the auction page.
Who wins
The highest valid bid that meets the reserve wins. If the reserve is not met, or there are no bids, the auction closes unsold and nobody is asked to pay.

Fees and payment

Who pays what, and when.

Auction entry fee (buyer)
5% of the starting price, paid online when you join an auction; the amount is shown before you pay.
Buyer fee
An estimate of 5% of the final price is shown on every auction before you bid.
Seller commission
5% of the final sold price, paid by the seller to UGC only when the car sells.
Vehicle price
The buyer pays the winning bid to the seller directly after they connect; do not pay before checking the documents.
Timeline
Entry fee when you join; vehicle price after the auction is awarded; seller commission after the sale.
Refunds
Auction entry fees are non-refundable in every case, including for bidders who do not win. You only pay the entry fee after seeing it and confirming.
Publishing a car
Free for the seller, who pays the UGC commission only when the car sells.
Taxes, transfer and export
The bid does not include ownership transfer, shipping, export or government taxes; buyer and seller agree on these.

Documents, inspection and verification

What UGC checks, and what you must check yourself.

Ownership documents
The seller uploads the title/registration and chooses who can see it (everyone, verified bidders, or admin only).
Vehicle history
Sellers can attach a vehicle history report, service records and export documents under "Documents and history".
Inspection reports
An inspection checklist appears when the seller attaches one; you can ask support to request or arrange an inspection before bidding.
Seller verification
Sellers submit a verification request with their documents; the "Verified seller" badge appears after admin approval.
What UGC checks
The team reviews every listing before it is published (photos, details and attached documents) and can ask for edits or reject it.
What you must check
VIN and ownership status, the real condition of the car, the declared flaws, and that the documents are genuine before final payment.
Buyer responsibility
A review is not a warranty. Read the seller terms and every document, and ask the seller in the Questions section before bidding.

What happens after the auction closes

From the close to the handover: who does what, and when.

  1. 1At close

    Result is decided

The highest bid that meets the reserve wins. With no bids, or a reserve that was not met, the auction closes unsold and the seller can relist it.

  2. 2Up to 5 working days

    Seller approval (if required)

If the seller chose to approve the final price, they have up to 5 working days to accept; otherwise the auction closes unsold.

  3. 3Once awarded

    Winner is confirmed

The winner gets an in-site, browser and email notification; the other bidders are told the result.

  4. 4Once awarded

    Buyer and seller connect

Both sides see each other’s contact details (name, phone, email) on the auction page to arrange the next steps.

  5. 5After contact

    Payment

The buyer pays the seller the winning bid as agreed between them; the seller pays the UGC commission shown under Fees.

  6. 6Before final payment

    Documents and transfer

Match the VIN, registration and ownership status with the listing, then complete the ownership transfer through the official channels.

  7. 7After payment

    Pickup, delivery, shipping or export

Handover follows the shipping and export options shown on the auction page; support can explain the export documents.

  8. 8At handover

    Deal completed

The seller confirms delivery and the auction shows as “Delivered”.
